The letter urged the Nepal government to lift the ban. Nepal has refused to withdraw the ban at present.

This company said in a letter to the Telecom Authority of Nepal that it is ready to work within the ambit of the law. About 29 lakh 98 thousand videos have been deleted in this regard. Therefore, the government should withdraw the decision to impose ban.

Nepal Telecom Authority Chairman Purushottam Khanal says that TikTok has been replied to the letter. It has been made clear that the government currently stands by its decision.
