Varanasi, 12 July: Hearing in the Gyanvapi-Sringar Gauri case is to continue in the court of District Judge Ajay Krishna Vishwesh on July 13.

Referring to the Special Religious Places of Worship Bill, 1991, respondent side maintain that no change can be made in the condition of religious places at the time of Independence in 1947.

After the arguments of the defendant side were completed in the court, advocates of the plaintiff also presented their point of view. The advocates said that their case is maintainable and the Special Places of Worship Bill, 1991 will not apply to it. No place becomes a mosque by offering Namaz.

Judge Vishvesh, after hearing the arguments of both the sides, said that the hearing will be held on Wednesday.

During the last hearing, the advocates of the respondent Anjuman Intejamiya Masajid had raised a series of objections in the court on 51 points filed in the plaint. It continued on Tuesday as well.

It is believed that after completion of the arguments from both the sides, the court will first decide whether the court can hear the matter or not. After the matter is found to be maintainable then the hearing will be held in the court.
