Respiratory crisis in Delhi, AQI level crosses 300

New Delhi, 31 October: The level of pollution in Delhi-NCR became so bad on Tuesday that a thick blanket of smoke was seen in the morning.

It is now becoming difficult for people in the capital to even breathe. On Tuesday, the air quality index of the city crossed 327. AQI may even cross 400 by Diwali.

Delhi’s AQI was recorded at 327 this morning. In Noida adjacent to Delhi, the air quality level reached 375. The same is the situation in other areas of NCR also. AQI 249 was recorded in Gurugram, Haryana.

The air level at Terminal-3 of Delhi Airport was recorded at 329. The most polluted air in Delhi was in the Dhirpur area. The AQI here reached 404.
