Patna, November 11: Bihar voters enthusiastically participated in the final phase of the Assembly elections 2025. According to the State Election Commission, 67.14 percent voter turnout was recorded by 5pm on Tuesday. This was higher than the previous two phases, leading to a strong turnout in the final phase.
Voters were enthusiastic about voting from early morning, with long queues seen at many polling booths. Women and young voters exercised their franchise in large numbers. Voter turnout in rural areas was higher than in urban areas. According to the Election Commission, the figures are likely to increase further by late evening, as polling booths will continue until 6 pm.
Voting took place in a total of 122 assembly constituencies in the second phase. Extensive security arrangements were made at all polling stations to ensure a peaceful and fair election. The district administration maintained constant vigil, with central paramilitary forces deployed.
With this final phase of voting, the voting process for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 has concluded. All eyes are now on counting day, November 14th, when the public mandate will be finalized.
