New Delhi, August 31: The Government of India on Thursday appointed Jaya Verma Sinha, a member of the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS), as the first woman Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Railway Board.

Meanwhile, Jaya Verma Sinha is the first woman officer to become the CEO of Railway Board.
