New Delhi, September 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday welcomed US President Donald Trump’s peace initiative to end the Gaza conflict.
The Prime Minister said that the plan offers a viable path to long-term and sustainable peace, security and development for the Palestinian and Israeli people as well as the larger West Asian region. Modi expressed hope that all concerned parties will come together in support of President Trump’s initiative to end the conflict and ensure lasting peace.
“We welcome President Donald J. Trump’s announcement of a comprehensive plan to end the Gaza conflict,” the Prime Minister said in an ex-post. “It offers a viable path to long-term and sustainable peace, security, and development for the Palestinian and Israeli peoples, as well as for the wider West Asian region. We hope that all parties concerned will unite behind President Trump’s initiative and support this effort to end the conflict and ensure peace.”
