PM Modi to go Lumbini via Kushinagar

Kushinagar, May 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave for Lumbini (Birthplace of Lord Buddha in Nepal) from Kushinagar International Airport on May 16 on Buddha Purnima. The Prime Minister will leave from Delhi in a special Air Force aircraft and will land at Kushinagar Airport.

The Kushinagar district administration has come into alert mode after the news of the arrival of PM Modi has reached to them.

Meanwhile, the airport administration has also started preparations. However, the minute-to-minute itinerary of the journey has not arrived. But the administration has received orders from the top level to complete the preparations.

Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will welcome the Prime Minister at the airport. After the formalities of the welcome, the Prime Minister will leave for Lumbini in a special Air Force helicopter. The district administration has started making security preparations for this visit.

District Magistrate (DM) S Rajalingam has instructed the officers of all the departments of the district to start their preparations. The police administration has started preparing the security maze inside and outside the airport. The airport administration has started preparing for the safe landing and takeoff of the Prime Minister’s air fleet, parking of the air fleet, hospitality, reception etc.

Airport Director AK Dwivedi said that all arrangements are being made in view of the arrival of the Prime Minister.

Confirming the arrival of PM in Kushinagar, Superintendent of Police (SP) Dhaval Jaiswal said that security preparations are being completed.
