New Delhi, October 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute appointment letters to more than 51,000 newly appointed personnel through video conferencing on October 28 at 1 p.m.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also address the appointed persons.

The Prime Minister’s Office issued a statement on Friday giving this information. It said that the employment fair will be organised at 37 places across the country. Recruitment is taking place in the Central Government departments as well as in state governments and union territories supporting this initiative.

The new employees selected from across the country will join various ministries and departments, including the Ministry of Railways, the Department of Posts, the Home Ministry, the Revenue Department, the Department of Higher Education, the Department of School Education and Literacy, and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The employment fair is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to give top priority to employment generation.

It is expected that the job fair will act as a catalyst for further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.

The newly appointed appointees are also getting the opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Start, an online module on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, where more than 750 e-learning courses are made available for the ‘anywhere, any device’ learning format.
