PM Modi shares his views on the film made on ISRO scientist Nambi Narayan

New Delhi, 05 April: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday shared his thoughts about the film ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ directed by film actor R Madhavan.

Referring to his meeting with R Madhavan and scientist Nambi Narayan, he said that the film has brought out important facts that people should know.

The Prime Minister said that the country’s scientific and technical experts have made great sacrifices for the country and they got a glimpse of it in the clip of rocketry.

The Prime Minister’s tweet was shared with a tweet by R. Madhavan in which he had mentioned his meeting with the Prime Minister in the past.

Madhavan wrote that Nambi Narayan and he met the Prime Minister a few weeks ago. During this time he discussed about his upcoming film Rocketry. The Prime Minister’s concern for the clip and Nambiji and his reaction to the wrong behaviour with him was quite affecting and proud. Madhavan also thanked the Prime Minister for this meeting.

The film ‘Rocketry’ is based on the life of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientist Nambi Narayan. Madhavan is playing the lead role in it. The film will simultaneously release in 6 languages โ€‹โ€‹Hindi, English, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu Malayalam.

ISRO scientist Nambi Narayan faced charges of spying in ISRO in 1994. After this, in 1996, after investigation by the CBI, it was told that the allegations against them were baseless. After this, a battle of compensation was fought in the court and in 2018; the Supreme Court asked to be given compensation of 50 lakhs.
