PM Modi dials CM Dhami for 6th time for an update on rescue ops in Uttarkashi

Dehradun, 23 November: Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for the sixth time on Thursday and took information about the rescue operation of workers trapped in the Silkyara tunnel of Uttarkashi.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has issued a post on social media giving information about the conversation with the Prime Minister. He told that Prime Minister Modi called today and took information about the ongoing rescue operation to safely rescue the workers trapped in the tunnel under construction in Silkyara, Uttarkashi.

Chief Minister Dhami informed the Prime Minister about the progress being made in the relief and rescue operations being conducted on a war footing in coordination with central agencies, international experts and the state administration.

Told the Prime Minister that arrangements for a team of doctors, ambulance, heli service and temporary hospital have been ensured for the treatment and care of the workers on the spot. In case of any emergency, doctors have been kept ready in AIIMS, Rishikesh.

The Prime Minister was also informed about the continuous talks with the labor brothers and their families and their efficiency and also informed about his own monitoring of rescue operations by staying in Uttarkashi.
