PM Modi, CM Yogi included in UP BJP Working Committee

Lucknow, 11 March: State President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Swatantra Dev Singh, on Thursday announced the names of State Working Committee members, permanent invitees and special invitees. He has included 28 party leaders in the Permanent Working Committee of the state, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and veteran party leader Murali Manohar Joshi.

Among the permanent invitees picked by the BJP state president are former Governor Kalyan Singh, former Union Minister Uma Bharti, former Governor Kesari Nath Tripathi, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma, National General Secretary Arun Singh, National Vice President Rekha Sharma, and National Minister Vinod Sonkar, Harish Dwivedi, National President Kisan Morcha Rajkumar Chahar, National Treasurer Rajesh Agarwal, Cabinet Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Former State President Ramapati Ram Tripathi, Vinay Katiyar, Om Prakash Singh, Laxmikant Bajpai, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Sanjeev Balian, VK Singh, Santosh Gangwar, Mahendra Nath Pandey, Smriti Irani, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi have been given place.

Apart from this, 94 party faces have been included in the team of special invitees. These include cabinet ministers Suresh Khanna, Swami Prasad Maurya, Satish Mahana, including MPs, Ministers of State and MLAs.

At the same time, 323 state working members have been elected in six provinces of the state. This includes 58 members from West Province, 64 members from Braj Province, 45 members from Kanpur Province, 46 from Awadh Province, 57 from Kashi Province and 53 from Gorakhpur Province.

Also, all the District Presidents, District Incharge and Mayor of the party will be invited members of the State Working Committee.
