Pakistan leader Altaf Hussain sings ‘Saare Jaha Se Acha Hindustan Hamara’, backs abrogation of Article 370

Founder of Pakistan’s Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) party, Altaf Hussain today was seen singing Indian patriotic song ‘Saare jahan se acha Hindustan hamara.’

A statement quoted the founder of MQM as saying, “Hussain said that the revocation of Article 370 by the Indian government was absolutely an internal matter of India and the government of India took this decision with the overwhelming support of the people of India.”

Altaf Hussain’s views on Kashmir are something that politicians in Pakistan don’t like. According to him, issue of kashmir should be allowed to “proceed on the basis of mutual adjustment and agreement…[and] It should be clear to all concerned that there can be no military solution to any of the contentious issues, let alone the issue of Kashmir.”

Altaf is one of the people who is always on target of Pakistani’s govt. He left the country way back in 1992 and currently resides in London.

Altaf Hussain is one of the mainstream liberal politicians in Pakistan who continuously raises voice against Partition of India, supports repatriation of stranded Pakistanis in Bangladesh and opposes Taliban.

Since the video has come out, mainstream politicians in Pakistan are trying to defend it.

Altaf continuously raise voice against growing of Jihad in Kashmir from Lashkar and Taliban.
