In another tweet, he said, “During this period, Rs 19,500 crore will be transferred to the accounts of more than 9.75 crore farmers across the country. I will also get an opportunity to interact with some of the beneficiaries of PM-KISAN. The way this scheme has brought a positive change in the lives of our farmer brothers and sisters, it is a matter of great joy.

It is worth mentioning that under PM-Kisan scheme, financial benefit of Rs.6000 per year is provided to eligible beneficiary farmer families and this financial benefit is provided in 3 instalments of Rs.2000 every 4 months.
