Over 117000 in age group of 18-44 vaccinated in UP

Gorakhpur, 09 May: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who visited Gorakhpur on Sunday, said that Uttar Pradesh is the most vaccinated state in the country. So far, 01 crore 37 lakh 22 thousand 160 doses have been administered whereas 01 lakh 17 thousand 327 people in the age group of 18-44 have been vaccinated.

β€œA total of 18 districts, including 11 new districts, will be added for the vaccination of people of age group of 18-44 from Monday. During this, CM Yogi asked the officers to provide vaccine safety cover to all the citizens by the state government to protect them from the corona,” Yogi said.

Keep vaccine waste zero

He pointed to the authorities and said that they should be alert to the goal of keeping the vaccine waste zero. Emphasis is being laid on online registration system for this. The registrants should be contacted a day or two before.

He appealed to the people’s representatives that the people’s representatives should also come forward to encourage the people. Inspect the system at the vaccination centres. Medical human resources is being arranged

He said that planned efforts are being made for the availability of medical human resources in view of future challenges. The services of young, retired veteran who have completed medical-paramedical final year intern training should be sought. In this regard, the process of selection and appointment should be completed in a week. A detailed review should be done from the Minister of Medical Education.

Keep availability of life saving drugs

Yogi said that availability of all life-saving medicines including Remdesivir injection is being ensured in the state. The Government of India has allocated 04 lakh 95 thousand vials till May 16. In government Covid hospitals this injection is completely free. These are being made available to private hospitals by the DMs and CMOs as per the requirement.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while handing over the responsibility of monitoring it to the District Magistrate and CMO, said that the DM-CMO should ensure that whenever a patient is given this injection, the nursing staff as well as a doctor is present there. All this must be done in the presence of a medical team. The life of every citizen of the state is precious and there should not be any kind of messing with it.
