Over 100 hospitals in Lucknow sanitized on Tuesday

Lucknow, 27 April: Large number of government and private hospitals of the state was sanitized on Tuesday, so that the pace of infection could be stopped. Over 100 hospitals in five zones were sanitized in Lucknow.

Meanwhile, sanitation drive is being carried out on a war-footing across the state to break the chain of coronavirus infection. Major roads, markets and institutions were sanitized on Saturday and Sunday weekly closures.

According to a government spokesperson, employees of 17 municipal corporations and 43 big municipal corporations worked to sanitize the hospitals. According to officials, this will help protect families and staff with corona-infected patients from infection.

Campaign will run in Lucknow for two days

Municipal Commissioner Lucknow Ajay Dwivedi informed that this campaign will be carried out for two days to sanitize all the hospitals in the district. It started with zones one, two, four, five and eight. The campaign mainly includes Balrampur Hospital, Avanti Bai Hospital, KK Hospital, Civil Hospital, Chaupad Hospital, Cancer Hospital Jiamau, Sahara Hospital Hainiman Chauraha, Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Ayurvedic Hospital, Era Medical Center, KGMU, and Queen Mary Hospital. So far, 100 hospitals were sanitized. Sanitization was carried out in the campaign by 3 anti-smog guns, 20 tractor mounted spray machines, 30 handheld spray machines.
