Officials seize 466 grams of gold at Amausi Airport in Lucknow

Lucknow, 05 March: Officials stationed at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport confiscated foreign gold from a traveller on a trip from Dubai.

Amausi Airport authorities said on Tuesday that 466 grams of foreign-origin gold had been recovered from a party arriving from Dubai by Air India Express on March 4.

The gold was concealed in workout equipment carried in his baggage. The found gold is valued at Rs 30 lakh on the international market. This matter is under investigation.
