NGO organises a program to celebrate ‘Mother’s Day’ with poor kids

Lucknow: Members of the non-governmental organisation[NGO], Sankalp Seva Ka on Sunday organised a program to celebrate Mother’s Day with the kids enrolled in an NGO for education in Gomti Nagar area of Lucknow.
While the children present in the program have prepared greeting cards dedicating to their mothers to mark the Mother’s Day celebration.
Team member of the NGO, Sangeeta Gautam donated more than 60 sarees to the mothers of kids. Interestingly, these sarees were presented by kids to their mothers.
Meanwhile, Alka Singh, another member of the NGO sang a beautiful song “Tu Kitni Achi Hai, Tu kitni Pyari Hai, O Ma O Ma” which left everyone present in an event emotional.

Sandhya Saxena, member of the organisation and a teacher by profession highlighted the importance of a mother in a child’s life. “ Children should be obedient to their mothers. They should not ignore what their mothers say to do because every mother wants her child to earn name , fame and respect in the society” said Saxena.

Hema Pandey, member of the NGO too expressed her views on an auspicious occasion, she told to children to follow the instructions of their mothers in order to become a responsible citizen of the country.

All the members of the NGO thanked Sangeeta Gautam for her kind gesture.

Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds and the influence of mothers in society.
