Nepal: Blast in Dhangadi, 1 killed, four injured

Kathmandu, July.19: In a city of Nepal, Dhangadhi in a blast one person is killed and four others were injured in a blast in a local hotel. The deceased was identified as Nepal Communist Party, a member of Ram Bahadur Singh.

Four other injured have been identified as Keshav Raj Pandey, Laxman Serela, Jitendra Yadav and Mobin Khan. They are undergoing treatment.

Assistant Chief District Magistrate of Kailali District Mohan Raj Joshi said that a explosion occurred near a restaurant located in the middle of the city. He said that one person out of five died in the treatment. Four other people are being treated in the hospital.

After the blast, the local administration has increased security in the city. Mr. Joshi said that we are confident that the state-of-the-art powerful explosive device was placed in a plastic bag which exploded near the restaurant. Superintendent of Police Sudeep Giri said that case is being investigated. Police also recovered a pistol near the spot.
