Neighbour supporting terrorism can’t be friend: Jaishankar

Panama City, 25 April: “We cannot connect to the nation which supports terrorism”, said External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, while referring to Pakistan.

Jaishankar was addressing the media person during his Panama tour. Pakistan will have to be firm on its assurance to act against terrorism. Pakistan will have to control terrorism across borders. Jaishankar expressed hope that one day this will be achieved.

During his visit to Panama discussion on improving bilateral cooperation, and establishing Indian pharmaceuticals in Panama was held. Indian Pharmaceuticals have made several changes during the last three years. Medicines during the Corona pandemic were supplied to a large number of nations, including developed countries, he added.

Foreign Minister of Panama Janaina Gob expressed happiness over Jaishankar?s visit and discussion over bilateral cooperation. India and Panama have been close friends for the last many years. They share the democracy, market, economy, and specialties of a diverse society. The approach of the two nations is also similar, he added.
