Banda, July 28: A Muslim teacher teaching in a private school under Badausa police station area in Banda district of Uttar Pradesh has been accused of luring and kidnapping a minor girl student of class VIII studying in the school, police said.
Acting on this information, the police recovered the girl safely from Hamirpur district and the accused teacher has been arrested and further action is being taken.
Area Officer Praveen Kumar Yadav told on Monday that there is a private school recognized up to class VIII under Badausa police station area.
Police officer apprised that a teacher name Farhan (30), living in the area, is a teacher in the school. Farhan’s sister is also a teacher in the same school. A family living in the village had given a complaint in the police station two days ago and accused both of luring and kidnapping their minor daughter studying in the school.
He also told in the complaint that Farhan, a teacher teaching in the school, and his sister are brainwashing Hindu girl students and inciting them against Hindu religion.
According to the girl’s family, their daughter has been studying in the school for the past two years and her behavior has started changing. She has started talking strange things related to religion. In this case, Badausa police showed promptness and registered a case and arrested the accused Farhan from Hamirpur and recovered the girl safely.
The CO said that the arrested accused is being presented before the court. The victim’s statement, medical examination and other legal proceedings are being done. The investigation of the case is going on.
Villagers raised the demand for investigation of the school
Local villagers say that the school where this incident happened, there was frequent movement of outsiders and questions have been raised on its operation many times before. Taking this incident seriously, the villagers have demanded from the administration that a thorough investigation of the school be conducted and if any facts related to an organised gang come to light, strict action should be taken against them.
