New Delhi, May 24: Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, accused in a money laundering case related to excise policy, has withdrawn his interim bail plea from the Delhi High Court.

Manish Sisodia had filed an interim bail petition, citing the health of his wife. The High Court has reserved its decision on the regular bail petition filed by Sisodia in this case.

On May 11, the High Court, while reserving its decision on the regular bail plea, directed the jail superintendent to ensure a meeting with the wife through video conferencing between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. as per the jail manual.

On May 4, the court issued a notice to the ED. On April 28, the Rouse Avenue Court rejected Sisodia’s bail plea in a money laundering case. Sisodia has challenged the decision of the Rouse Avenue Court in the High Court.
