Modi-Yogi will be faces of BJP in UP assembly polls, confirms Dharmendra Pradhan

Lucknow, 24 September: Union Minister and the Bharatiya Janta Partyโ€™s (BJP) election in-charge for Uttar Pradesh Assembly Dharmendra Pradhan has said that the 2022 assembly elections will be fought under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Pradhan said this during a press briefing on Friday.

Union Minister Pradhan also announced an alliance of the BJP and the Nishad Party and said that both the parties will fight the 2022 elections together. He said that this alliance will strengthen all the allies.

Responding to a question, election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be the faces of the BJP and its alliance during the elections.

However, his attention was drawn to the statement of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya that the MLAs would choose their leader after the elections, to this Pradhan said that it is a long process and now we are preparing to contest the elections under the leadership of Modi-Yogi. Yogi Adityanath is the chief minister now, so it is not a question.

BJP election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan said that we are working by preparing a strategy for the 2022 elections to be fought more strongly. Nishad Party will fight elections with BJP and Apna Dal will also be with us.

On the question of the number of seats to be given to Sanjay Nishad and to be made MLC, Pradhan said that everything will be clarified when the time comes. The party has not yet shared the seats. The alliance has been done and the Nishad Party will also contest the elections under the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Nishad Party chief Sanjay Nishad, BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh, in-charge Radha Mohan Singh and Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Siddharth Nath Singh were also present during the press conference at BJP’s state headquarters
