Modi opts for chair instead of sofa at photo-op, Piyush Goyal tweets the video

Sofa was removed soon after PM Modi refused to sit on it and a chair was placed for PM

Vladivostok: During the visit to India pavilion in Eastern Economic Forum 2019 in Vladivostok in Russia, a sofa was placed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi between chairs for a group photo. As soon as InvestIndia’s Deepak Bagla welcomed the PM to India pavilion, the PM spotted a special sofa arrangement for him for group photo while others would sit on chairs.

However, The Prime Minister immediately asked the staffers to remove the sofa and arrange simple chair for him at group photo venue. Accordingly, the staff replaced sofa with chairs. Modi took sit only after a chair was arranged for him instead of sofa.

The video tweeted by Union Minister Piyush Goyal has gone viral and has earned the Prime Minister many more admirers.
