Man arrested for ‘objectionable’ post on CM Yogi on Facebook

Ballia, 19 June: The police arrested a man who posted an objectionable picture and indecent remarks against the Chief Minister Yogi on Facebook, police said.  

However, a case has been registered against Adarsh ​​Choubey under IT Act.

According to the PRO of the Superintendent of Police, on June 18, Adarsh ​​Choubey alias Chhotu Choubey, resident of Choubey Chhapra under Revati police station area, son of late Dinesh Choubey, posted an obscene photo of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on social media platform with which an objectionable post was written.

There was a lot of resentment among the people towards this, which was complained by some people through social media. After investigating the matter, the things posted by the youth were found to be true.

In this regard, a case was registered against the accused youth under Section 504, 505 IPC and Section 67 IT Act.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Ballia Vipin Tada had given instructions for immediate action in view of the seriousness of the matter.

On the instructions of the SP, Adarsh ​​Choubey alias Chhotu Chaube resident Chaubey Chhapra police station Revathi was arrested from Tola Chatti of Ganga Pandey.
