Mah BJP launches portal for competitive exams, targets young voters

Pune, 22 April: Bharatiya Janata Party, Maharashtra unit, is planning to launch its own portal, which will provide free online mock tests for competitive entrance examinations in engineering, medical, pharmacy, and law courses.

BJP’s state chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule discussed the issue in Pune. As a part of the initiative, the party has started a registration portal at http://www.bjpexams.in. The proposal presently solely targets persons of 18 years, that is new voters in Maharashtra, but it could be expanded in the future.

Bawankule is learnt to have said that the programme is a good opportunity to attract youth by assisting them in shaping their careers, which begins with admission to various courses. The party is working on launching a state-level initiative that would provide 1.5 lakh youth with skill development training.

Bawankule detailed the concept for the mock test portal, saying that 10 lakh students in the state appear every year for various entrance tests for admission to professional institutions. The state chief directed party leaders to record videos of the project, and post them on social media. When you visit the website, the front page displays the motto ?Free online test series for all Maharashtra students.?

BJP Maharashtra organises free online mock test series for MHT-CET, JEE, NEET, and MH-CET LAW exams, according to a notice on the home page.

Mock test series will be a separate test on each subject. The students can participate whenever they choose, and can immediately access and analyze their test results on their PC, laptop, or mobile device.

BJP Maharashtra has appealed to the colleges and private tuition classes to involve the maximum number of students so that the students can get admission in the country?s reputed Engineering, pharmacy, medical, and law colleges.
