Lucknow: Seven arrested, including five women involved in prostitution

Lucknow, 21 May: Chinhat police arrested five women and two men allegedly involved in flesh trade racket on Friday, police said. ย 

Meanwhile, offensive items were found from their possession. The police have registered a case against all of them under the Unlawful Trade Act.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Vibhutikhand Praveen Malik told that a team of Chinhat police station and the Deputy Commissioner of Police, the Crime Branch of Eastern have raided the Rishi Udyan Colony BBD from where five women and two men have been arrested. Offensive goods including two cars, cell phones and cash have been recovered from them.

Inspector Dhananjay said that the two males arrested are Vivek Singh, resident of Gonda Maharajganj and Aas Mohammad, a resident of Rae Bareli. Five women have also been arrested.
