Lucknow Police Commissioner suspends Vikas Nagar police station in-charge

Lucknow, November 12: Sarafa businessman was shot dead by miscreants in Vikas Nagar police station area of โ€‹โ€‹the capital. Lucknow Police Commissioner Sujit Pandey has suspended the station in-charge on Thursday for being negligent in this case.

On the other hand, five teams have been formed to nab the absconding accused.

Police Commissioner Sujit Pandey had already alerted the capital police regarding the Deepawali festival. Despite this, on Wednesday late night, car miscreants shot and injured Badri Saraf owner Abhishek Kesharwani, two hundred meters away from the shop located in Vikas Nagar police station area. However, the police have arrested an accused in the case.

The police commissioner, taking the case seriously, has suspended the police station in-charge of Vikas Nagar, Rishabhdev Singh for negligence.

Simultaneously, five police teams have been constituted to nab the absconding accused.

It is noteworthy that Abhishek Kesharwani was on his way home with his wife after closing Saraf’s shop in Kalyanpur on Wednesday night. The miscreants riding the car near Seemap overtook Abhishek’s car and stopped a short distance away.

Meanwhile, two youths got down from the car and started talking. Then the miscreants fired bullets from behind the car.

However, Abhishek has been admitted to the Trauma Center for treatment in critical condition.

Charges filed against four including uncle

After this incident, Abhishek’s father Sudhir Kesarwani has filed a case against four people, including his brothers Rajesh Kesarwani and Ashtabhuja Pathak. Police have arrested Ashtabhuja Pathak after registering the case.
