He informed that the draft electoral rolls will be published on December 16, 2025. Claims and objections will be received from December 16, 2025, to January 15, 2026. From December 16, 2025, to February 7, 2026, the ERO will adjudicate and resolve claims and objections in the notice phase. Final publication approval is required from the Commission on February 10, 2026. The final publication of the electoral rolls (voter lists) in the state will be on February 14, 2026.

The Chief Electoral Officer stated that over 10.75 crore (70%) counting forms have been digitized in the state so far. Furthermore, the BLOs have completed the digitization of counting forms at 9,177 polling stations.

He directed all District Election Officers that, since an additional week has been granted, their subordinate officers and staff, especially BLOs, should not be subjected to unnecessary mental pressure. There is enough time in which all the work can be completed. Those BLOs who have lagged behind in their work due to any reason and who need assistance should be provided with necessary assistance.

He informed that before the publication of the draft voter list, there will be a meeting of BLOs and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) deployed by political parties at every polling booth. In which the BLOs will provide the list of such voters to the BLAs whose names are not appearing in the draft voter list due to some reasons.
