Lucknow: Covid guidelines issued to prevent infection

Lucknow, 12 April: There has been a rise in the number of Covid patients in many states of India as well as in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. In view of the increasing number of Covid cases in Lucknow, the district administration has given instructions to follow Covid protocols in schools, offices and hospitals.

Lucknow District Magistrate Surya Pal Gangwar has issued protocols for offices, schools, colleges, hospitals, cinema halls, railway and bus stations and for the general public.

Guidelines for Offices

As per the instructions of the District Magistrate Gangwar, it should be ensured that the Covid protocol is followed in the offices. Along with this, masks, sanitizers and social distancing should be followed in the offices. No one should be allowed to enter the offices without a mask. Thermal scanning should be arranged at the entrance of the offices. Doors, railings, lifts, parking areas should be sanitized from time to time. If you have symptoms of cold, cough, fever or flu, stay at home and get yourself tested for Covid.

Guidelines for schools and colleges

The District Magistrate has given instructions to make masks mandatory for children and teachers in schools. Distance between each other should be followed and sanitizer should be arranged in schools.

The District Magistrate has appealed to the general public to follow the Covid protocol in public places and crowded places. Avoid taking children and the elderly to crowded places. Special care should be taken of the patients of kidney, liver, diabetes and breathing. Avoid shaking hands and hugging. Avoid touching nose, mouth and face repeatedly. Avoid contact with people who have cold. Sanitize children’s toys. Include yoga in the routine.
