Lockdown Day 20: Out of 740 cases, 40 test positive for ‘Kung Flu’ ( Coronavirus) in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, April 13: India is into the World’s biggest lockdown to combat spreading of highly contagious pathogen, On Monday, reported an increase of 40 Covid-19 cases in Uttar Pradesh.

However, test of 740 samples has done in the lab of King George’s Medical University (KGMU) in the capital on Sunday and the reports were received on Monday, in which 40 cases have been tested Corona positive.

Meanwhile, one patient has been admitted in KGMU, three other Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee (Civil Hospital) in Lucknow, whereas 36 other positive patients have been admitted to SN Medical College, Agra.

According to the report, 64-year-old male tested at KGMU was found to be Corona positive. At the same time, 25-year-old male, 18-year-old woman and 76-year-old male have been admitted to Civil Hospital in Lucknow. There are 36 Corona positive admitted to Agra.

These include 65-year-old male, 31-year-old male, 65-year-old male, 31-year-old male, 42-year-old male, 35-year-old female, 75-year-old female, 80-year-old male, 25-year-old male, 45-year-old female, 19-year-old woman, 36-year-old male, 27 Year old male, 30 year old female, 62 year old male, 25 year old male, 24 year old female, 43 year old female, 55 year old female, 18 year old girl, 17 year old girl, 17 year old youth, 28 year old female, 28 year old male, 35 year old male , 26 years Siy men, 52-year-old, 23-year-old, male 25-year-old, male 55-year-old, 22-year-old woman, 23-year-old man, 35-year-old male, 12 year old girl, 37-year-old girl and 40-year-old male.

Earlier, Principal Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that 45 persons have been fully recovered and sent to their respective homes. These include 10 patients to Agra, 05 to Ghaziabad, 12 to Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida), 05 to Lucknow, 01 to Kanpur, 01 to Shamli, 01 to Pilibhit, 01 to Lakhimpur and 09 to Meerut.

Prasad informed that the corona infection has now affected 41 districts of the state. In view of this, the state government is working on testing more and more on Corana samples through various laboratories. Our target is 2000 tests per day. There are currently 576 patients in isolation wards in the state. At the same time, 8084 people who came into close contact with Covid-19 patients have already been quarantined. Along with this, there are 931 ventilator beds available in the state.
