New Delhi, May 11: Aarogya Setu App (ASA) has so far warned 1.40 lakh people from the danger of novel coronavirus infection. This app has information of 13 thousand Covid-19 positive patients and so far it has been downloaded by 9.8 crore people.

Ajay Sahni, chairman of Empowered Committee 9 constituted by the central government to prevent the coronavirus infection, told that the data of the people in the Aarogya Setu app is completely safe. Due to this app, a large number of people are asking questions and their answers are being replied timely.

Information of 697 potential hotspots

While giving a presentation about the Aarogya Setu app in a press conference on Monday, Ajay Sahni said that with the help of this app, so far 697 potential hotspots have been informed to the states.

He told that in places where more cases are coming up, there is a risk of corana infection, it is also being estimated through this app.
