Lockdown 3.O Day 7: UP only state in the country with highest no. of beds in hospitals to treat Covid-19

Lucknow, May 10: Uttar Pradesh has become the first state in the country to produce the highest 54,000 beds in Covid-19 hospitals for the treatment of the highly contagious pathogen.

Along with this, Uttar Pradesh is also the only state in terms of providing better ventilator facility in every district of the state.

This was informed in a high level meeting, to review Covid-19 preparedness in the state, of senior officials with the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday.

During this, Yogi reviewed the facilities of Level-1, Level-2, Level-3 dedicated hospitals for Covid-19. The first case of coronavirus came in the state on March 03, when 36 districts of the state did not have ventilator facilities. After this, within just two months, the government provided ventilators to each district.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the principals of medical colleges to monitor every corona patient himself.

He said that doctors have the opportunity to win the heart of the society by their service. Therefore, serve and care for patients with sensitivity.

The Chief Minister said that capacity is assessed in challenging circumstances, so in this pandemic time, do the best works. The state government is supporting in every way.

He also instructed all doctors, paramedical staff and technicians to continue to provide proper training.
