Lucknow, 10 August: The Lucknow Development Authority ( LDA) has sealed hotel Prakash Inn as it bypassed the statutory proceedings in the construction on Thursday. The hotel is also facing charges of harassing the customers during checkout time.
The hotel is situated in Vinay Khand area of the posh Gomti Nagar in Lucknow.
Meanwhile, the LDA served many notices to the owner of the hotel Prakash Inn.
Assistant Engineer Awadhesh Kumar, Junior Engineer Rajeev Kumar, Junior Engineer Satyaveer Singh took sealing action on the instructions of LDA’s prescribed court on illegal construction work.
During this, the cooperation of the police force of the Gomti Nagar police station has to be taken. On the occasion, the supporters of Rabindra Nath protested a little but later became calm.
According to the authority, the building of hotel Prakash Inn, built in the area under Zone 1 of LDA, was constructed keeping the rules in mind but when it was investigated under the supervision of LDA’s zone officer, the entire construction work was found to be illegal.
