Kerala continues to report heavy Covid-19 cases

New Delhi, August 04: Coronavirus trnasmission is turning out to be more alarming in Kerala. In view of the report of the team of experts sent by the Centre, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Wednesday spoke to Kerala Chief Minister Vijayan Pinarayi over telephone and discussed the situation in Kerala.

Earlier, the Health Minister sent a letter to the Chief Minister explaining the ways and suggestions of strict measures to deal with Corona.

Expressing concern over the situation in Kerala, the Health Minister said that he assured full cooperation to the state government.

He also sought cooperation from the state government.

On Wednesday, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted that the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) team reviewed the situation in Kerala and submitted a report to the ministry and advised to take strict steps to stop the pace of corona in Kerala.

It is worth mentioning that over 22 thousand fresh cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Kerala on Tuesday. The death toll is also more than 100.
