Bengaluru,29 July: The state Assembly approved the vote of confidence motion moved by BS Yeddyurappa this morning by a voice vote.

The house also approved the financial bill moved by the previous alliance government without any amendments.

Siddaramaiah, Congress legislature party leader disagreed the move of seeking a vote on account only for three months and claimed it not to be a good precedent.

He also insisted: Probably it would be for the first time that the financial bill is being approved for consideration without any discussion on the demands of various departments.

HK Patil, DK Shivakumar, both Congress members also took exception to the way the financial bill has been presented and being considered for approval.
