Karnataka Elections: Yogi, Rajnath, Sitharaman to campaign for BJP today

Bengaluru, 26 April: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Nirmala Sitharaman will campaign for BJP candidates in Karnataka on Wednesday.

The leaders will reach various places in north and south Karnataka to campaign for the May 10 assembly elections.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will reach Mysore from Lucknow and will participate in road show and election campaign in Mandya. He will reach Vijayapura district in north Karnataka by afternoon and visit the Basaveshwara temple before starting campaigning at Basavanna Bagwadi.

Yogi will reach Indi Town and address a public meeting before returning to Lucknow. He will reach out to both Vokkaliga and Lingayat segments.

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will campaign in Belagavi and Bagalkot districts. Apart from this, he will also participate in public meetings in Kagwara, Bailhongal and Bagalkot districts.

In Kalaburagi, union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will campaign for her party’s candidates. She will hold a press conference at the BJP office and will participate in the dialogue programme.

Sitharaman will also participate in an interactive program in Aland. Later in the evening, she will go door-to-door campaigning in Kalaburagi town.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will participate in a public meeting at Hukkeri in Belagavi district. He will also address public meetings in Gokak and Ramdurg.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will visit Siddheshwar Ashram in Vijayapura and hold a press conference. He will campaign in Bableshwar city.
