Lucknow, 20 October :The family of the slain Hindu leader Kamlesh Tiwari met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday. The family has placed 11-point charter of demands in front of the CM, including the National Investigation Agency( NIA) to investigate the murder, providing a government job to the son and security to the family.

Meanwhile, the police investigating the murder has recovered blood-soaked saffron clothes and a bag from Hotel Khalsa in Lalbagh, Lucknow. It is believed that the attackers carried out the attack by wearing these clothes. The police also investigated Kamlesh Tiwari’s office. The Chief Minister has summoned DGP OP Singh to get information about the investigation of this case.

Kamlesh Tiwari’s mother, wife and son went to meet him at his Lucknow residence this afternoon to meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The family of Kamlesh Tiwari has handed over a letter of 11-point demands to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and demanded that the name of Khurshid Bagh be changed to Kamlesh Bagh and at the same time a statue of Kamlesh Tiwari should be installed there. Along with this, there was a demand for family security, son’s government job, government accommodation in Lucknow Sadar.

Apart from this, gun license should be issued for Kamlesh Tiwari’s son for self-defence. The case should be investigated by the SIT and the NIA, this investigation should be done by the IG level officer. Family should be provided security within 48 hours. The family demands that the statements of his and Kamlesh’s supporters be recorded by a joint team of ADM and Additional Superintendent of Police. Kamlesh’s killers should be arrested immediately and prosecuted in the fast track court and given strict punishment.

The family says that in a 40-minute-long conversation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has accepted all the demands of the family of Kamlesh Tiwari. After this, Kamlesh’s sons touched the Chief Minister’s feet and took his blessings.

Saffron clothes recovered from hotel

Here, the police investigating the murder has recovered the goods, blood-soaked saffron clothes, red kurta and a bag from Kamlesh Tiwari’s room number G-103 in Khalsa Hotel in Lucknow’s Naka area. Police believe that the killers stayed in this hotel after coming to Lucknow. Wearing saffron dress in the same room, went out to kill. After committing the crime, he came back to the hotel and escaped leaving blood-soaked clothes and bags. The police team has found mobile phones, saving kits and bags in addition to blood-saffron kurta. According to the hotel manager, the hotel Khalsa rooms were booked with the IDs of Sheikh Ashfaq and Pathan Moinuddin Ahmed. On the night of 17 October, these people came to the hotel at 11:08 am. Went away at 10:38 am on 18 October. After this, he came back again at 21:00 and went back again at 1.37. Did not return after this. According to the police, Kamlesh Tiwari was killed only after these people left the hotel at 10:38 am on October 18 and returned at 1.21 am. After returning to the hotel at 1.20 pm, the two suspects stayed for only 17 minutes and meanwhile left the hotel at 1.37 pm after changing clothes and did not return.

Director General of Police (DGP) OP Singh said that we are in touch with Gujarat and Maharashtra ATS. We are preparing a strategy to take this discussion further by talking to the SIT Chief. He said that interrogation of the woman captured in CCTV footage is going on, we are working at all points. One of our teams is also keeping an eye on social media.
