New Delhi, 31 October: India on Thursday rejected China’s statement regarding Jammu and Kashmir, saying that no country including China should interfere in India’s internal affairs.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ravish Kumar said that India does not interfere in the internal affairs of any other country. Similarly, no other country should interfere in our internal affairs. He said that India’s policy regarding Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh has always been clear. This region is an integral part of India.

The spokesperson said that China has occupied a part of the state of Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan has illegally transferred a part of its territory to China. The region passes through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

It is noteworthy that China’s foreign ministry had declared the partition of Jammu and Kashmir as a one-sided decision of India. China had said that India’s decision is illegal.

Ravish Kumar sharply countered this criticism of China. He said that India and China are trying to resolve their border dispute through dialogue process so that any just and valid outcome can be reached.
