Varanasi, May 19: In the survey report of Advocate Commissioner Ajay Kumar Mishra, who was removed in the Gyanvapi-Shringar Gauri case, it has been said that on the back wall of the disputed Gyanvapi Masjid, symbols related to Sanatan Dharma and figures like idols of deities have been found.

During the survey conducted on May 6-7, vermilion colored embossed artwork was also found on the stone slab from north to west in the wall of the mosque.

Dismissed Advocate Commissioner Ajay Kumar Mishra told in the report that religious symbols are present on the back wall of the mosque along with the symbol of Sheshnag, lotus.

In a two-page report filed in the court of the Civil Judge (Senior Division), Ajay Kumar Mishra has mentioned that four deities are visible on the rock plate in the mosque premises. In this, the fourth figure looks like an idol and is covered with a thick paste of vermilion. In front of it, flowers were kept in a triangular pillar to light the lamp.

Ajay Kumar Mishra has also spoken about the opposition of the respondent and the Muslim side and non-cooperation of the district administration during the proceedings of the commission.

According to Mishra, the action was postponed to the next day after the administration expressed its inability to go inside the barricading of the disputed site of the mosque and open the basement.

However, the survey proceedings, which began on the second day on May 7, began in the absence of one of the parties, the Anjuman Inazaniya Masajid Committee.

According to Mishra, during the survey, photographs and videography of broken deities, debris of temples, artwork of Hindu gods and goddesses, lotus shape, stone slab etc. were done.

The report of Ajay Kumar Mishra has been kept in a safe lock in the treasury on the orders of the court.

On the other hand, in the survey report filed in the court on Thursday, Special Advocate Commissioner Vishal Singh has also said that signs related to Hindu religion have been found.

He has mentioned about 4-4 old pillars in the basement of the mosque. He has told in the report that the pillars were of the old fashion, whose height was 8-8 feet. From bottom to top, bell, urn, flower shapes are built around the pillar.

In the report, the Special Advocate Commissioner has given information about the stone of Shivalinga figure found in the Vazukhana. It is being told by the people of the plaintiff side as Shivling and the respondent side as fountain.

According to the report, 63 cm depth was found when a sink was inserted in the stone having a shape like Shivling. The diameter of the base of the circular shape of stone was found to be 4 feet. The circular shape is the distinct white stone of the design cut from the top.

He has mentioned in the report that the parties of the plaintiffs asked to show the fountain during the survey.

On this the Munshi of the Masjid Committee expressed his inability to run the fountain. It was said about the closure of the fountain for the first 20 years. Then it was told to be closed for 12 years. There was no place for the pipe to go in this fountain.

He told through the report that the distance between the Nandi sitting outside the mosque and the pool found inside (in the middle of which the plaintiff side is showing the Shivling) is 83 feet 3 inches. The swastika on the southern pillar under the main dome of the mosque and three damru signs were found near the first gate.

Similarly, in the north-west direction, a basement of 15 by 15 feet was seen, on which the debris was lying, the artefacts like temples were seen on the stones lying there.

The three-day (May 14-16) survey report of Special Advocate Commissioner Vishal Singh was filed in the court of Civil Judge (Senior Division) on Thursday. After some time this report was leaked.

However, there is increasing displeasure in the respondent’s side when a copy of the survey report is shown on a channel. On August 18 2021, Rakhi Singh of Delhi and Laxmi Devi of Banaras, Sita Sahu, Manju Vyas and Rekha Pathak filed suit in the court of Civil Judge (Senior Division) to allow daily darshan-worship of Mother Shringar Gauri and other deities and appealed for protection.
