New Delhi, 02 January: Another petition has been filed in the Supreme Court in the Gyanvapi case. In this petition, the Hindu side has demanded to clean the sealed ‘wazukhana’ containing the alleged ‘Shivalinga’ found during the survey.

In the application filed by Hindu side’s lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain, it has been demanded that an order should be issued to the District Magistrate of Varanasi to get the tank cleaned.

It has been said in the application that the bathroom of the Muslim side has not been cleaned since May 2022, due to which the fish died between 20 and 25 December last year. Because of this, the alleged Shivalinga found during the survey in wajukhana has become impure. This is contrary to the beliefs of Hindu religion, in such a situation cleaning of the tank should be ordered.

According to the petition, in this case, an application was filed by the Hindu side in the Civil Court of Varanasi to transfer the fishes from the pond. At the same time, there was opposition from the Anjuman organization against the removal of fishes. This is the reason why these fish are dead there today.
