Varanasi, May 21: In the Gyanvapi Shringar Gauri case, three applications including the survey report of the Gyanvapi Masjid case will be heard in Varanasi district court on Monday.

Earlier on Saturday, the case file was handed over to the district court by the Civil Court (Senior Division).

The Supreme Court, while hearing the petition of Anjuman Intejamiya Masajid Committee in the matter, on Friday, ordered the transfer of the case to the Varanasi District Court.

The Supreme Court had also ordered that the district judge would complete the hearing in eight weeks.

Following the direction of the Supreme Court, on Saturday, the court of Civil Judge (Senior Division) Ravi Kumar Diwakar handed over all the files related to this case to the court of District Judge Ajay Krishna Vishwesh.

The hearing of case number 693/21 will now begin in the district court from Monday (May 23). In such a situation, now the eyes of the people are fixed on the hearing to be held in the district court.

Years-old pictures of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple are viral on various social media platforms, with people claiming that artefacts like Swastika, Trishul and Lotus have been found at various places in the mosque premises.

All these artifacts appear to be of ancient Indian temple style, which are quite old. Seeing this one can say that the disputed site is not a mosque but a temple.

The report of the removed Advocate Commissioner and Special Advocate Commissioner is also in the center of debate. Arguments are also being made about whether Shivling was found in Vazukhana or fountain.
