Gurugram police bust flesh trade racket at spa center, arrest 3

Gurugram, 5 December: On information about flesh trade racket being operated under the guise of spa center, police raided two spa centres on Tuesday, during this period, three accused were arrested from spa center, police said.

On Tuesday, police spokesperson Subhash Bokan said that a case has been registered against the accused and investigation has been started.

According to the information, police had received information that prostitution racket is being running in 2 spa centers in Qutub Plaza Market DLF Phase-1 Gurugram. Women are forced into prostitution by fixing rates from the customers coming there. A special police team was formed under the supervision of Assistant Police Commissioner Headquarters Sushila.

According to the Gurugram police, completing the formalities of the law, the police team created its own bogus/fake customers and sent them to Lotus Spa and Unique Spa located in Qutub Plaza Market. There, rates were fixed and girls were demanded for prostitution. In both the above mentioned centres, girls were made available to the fake/bogus customers of the police for prostitution by the managers/operators of the centres. Meanwhile, the fake/bogus customers sent by the police team informed the police team as per the instructions. Three accused have been arrested from two spa centres.

The accused arrested by the police team were identified as Sujit, manager of Lotus Spa Center, resident of village Jarampur, district Nadia (West Bengal) and Mehar Mistry alias Pritam Mistry, resident of Khatima Jhankaiya, Udham Singh Nagar (Uttarakhand) and Lummilasatganta alias Alam, resident of Unique Spa Center. Chakarpur came into existence as Gurugram.

During interrogation, the accused admitted to prostitution by taking money. A case has been registered against him and investigation has
been started.
