Govt working for safe, smart Shahjahanpur: Yogi

Shahjahanpur, 07 December: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said that he will make Shahjahanpur a smart city as well as a safe city. The work of preventing incidents of looting is being done by installing traffic management and CCTV cameras at the intersections.

Earlier, CM Yogi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 87 projects worth ?308 crore by pressing the button. Addressing the Intellecutals Meet (Prabuddha Sammelan) at Khirnibagh Ramlila Maidan, the Chief Minister highlighted the schemes of the government in his 30-minute speech. He said that today people are getting benefits of various schemes including housing scheme, Ayushman scheme.

He urged the businessmen to invest in education-medical as well as other sectors. Targeting the SP, he said that earlier street lights of many colors were found on the road. If there was no electricity then from where would these lights light up? Now the roads are illuminated with white colored LEDs.

The Chief Minister said that along with the municipal corporation, BJP candidates should win on other bodies so that the public can get the benefit of all the schemes of the government. CM Yogi, who started the speech with Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram, concluded with Jai Hind.
