Ghazipur: Jailed mafia Mukhtar Ansari’s relatives property worth Rs 5.10 cr attached

Ghazipur, 27 April: The district administration has once again taken major action against jailed mafia Mukhtar Ansari.

On Wednesday, the police and district administration has attached 5.10 crore properties in the name of Mukhtar’s brother-in-law, Sharjeel Raza, Anwar Shahzad.

Circle Officer (CO) Sadar Ojaswi Chawla said that on the instructions of the District Magistrate (DM), attachment proceedings have been taken against IS-191 gang leader Mukhtar Ansari under Gangster Act. Mukhtar Ansari’s โ€˜benamiโ€™ property located in Babadi village of Sadar Kotwali area has been confiscated, which is registered in the name of years of mafia don Mukhtar Ansari.

As per district officials, Gata number 446 Rakwa 0.3134 hectares of land located in Babadi village was attached in the presence of top officials of the district administration, whose market value is being told as Rs 5 crore 10 lakh. Even before this, many major attachment proceedings have been taken against the Mukhtar Ansari gang.
