Farhan Akhtar’s expensive film ‘120 Bahadur’ earns meager amount on weekends

Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar’s film ‘120 Bahadur’ has completed three days of its release in theatres. Set against the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China war, the film also stars Raashi Khanna in a pivotal role alongside Farhan.

The film received positive response from audiences and critics on its first day of release. Although the opening collection was below expectations, the film picked up pace at the box office as the weekend approached, registering a strong growth.

According to The box office report of ‘120 Bahadur’: ‘120 Bahadur’ recorded a box office collection of โ‚น4 crore on the third day of its release. The film opened with โ‚น2.25 crore on the first day, while its business jumped to โ‚น3.85 crore on the second day. With the weekend’s surge, the film’s total earnings now stand at โ‚น10.10 crore. However, with a budget of โ‚น80โ€“90 crore, the film still has a long way to go to recover its costs.

Farhan Akhtar’s film “120 Bahadur” pays a true tribute to the brave soldiers who displayed indomitable courage despite difficult circumstances during the 1962 India-China war. In this historic battle, just 120 Indian soldiers held their ground against nearly 3,000 Chinese soldiers.

Farhan plays Major Shaitan Singh Bhati in the film. Vivan Bhatena, Ankit Siwach, Sparsh Walia, Ejaz Khan, Dhanveer Singh, and Digvijay Pratap also appear in important roles. The film is directed by Rajneesh “Reji” Ghosh.
