New Delhi, October 23: The case of Ayushmann Khurrana’s film “Bala” has reached the Supreme Court. Abhishek Pathak, director of the film “Ujda Chaman”, has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking a stay on the release of the film ‘Bala’. The Supreme Court will hear this petition on November 4.

The petition states that Dinesh Vijon, the director of the film “Bala” has violated the Copyright Act. Abhishek Pathak says that his film is a remake of the Kannada film Ondu Motteye Kathe and he holds the copyright to the original film. He says that there is a lot of similarity between the two films. Abhishek Pathak has approached the Bombay High Court before this.
