Lucknow, April 13: The Principal Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Government, Aparna U, on Monday allocated relief aid amount of ₹ 46 crore 28 lakh to the individuals, families and farmers affected by various disasters in the state.

Issuing a government order (GO) to this effect, she directed the concerned district magistrates (DMs) to distribute the relief aid amount to the affected families within 24 hours.
The Principal Secretary Revenue informed that ₹ 17 crore 95 lakh has been released for the families affected by hailstorm, ₹ 6 crore 32 lakh for the families affected by fire and Rs 22 crore 17 thousand for the families affected by various disasters in the state.
While reviewing the losses caused by rain and hailstorm, she said that adequate budget has been allocated to the districts from the government. If any district is short of funds, then demand it immediately.
