Lucknow, 11 Feb: Hours after the Congress party dismissed Acharya Pramod Krishnam for six years for anti-party statements, an ex-Priyanka Gandhi team member responded, declaring, “No compromise on Ram and Rashtra.”

Taking to X, the former Congress leader also tagged Rahul Gandhi in his tweet. Notably, Acharya Pramod has already blasted Rahul Gandhi’s led Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, calling it political tourism. Acharya stated that the Congress is traveling, while other parties are preparing for the approaching 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

In response to charges of indiscipline and repeated remarks against the party, the Congress President has accepted the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee’s motion to remove Pramod Krishnam from the party for six years, effective immediately, according to an official statement.

Notably, the party’s decision came only days after Acharya Pramod Krishnam met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him to lay the foundation stone for Shri Kalki Dham in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal on February 19.

“I had the honour of welcoming India’s great Prime Minister, Respected Shri Narendra Modiji, to the Shri Kalki Dham foundation stone laying event on February 19th,” he commented on X: “My heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the Honorable Prime Minister for accepting this.

The former Congress leader also attended the Ram temple’s ‘Pran Pratishthan’ event on January 22 in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya, praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the opening of the Ram Mandir.
