Mumbai, 03 October: Three accused, including Aryan Khan, son of film actor Shah Rukh Khan, have been sent to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) custody for a day by a magistrate court in Mumbai in a narcotics case.

NCB’s counsel had sought two days’ custody in this case. But the court has ordered to give NCB custody of only one day to these three.

NCB’s counsel told the magistrate’s court on Sunday that nine people were arrested during a high-profile party on the Cordelia cruise ship. Three of them were produced in the court. The three accused had taken them to the ship party by hiding them in the lens of their eyes. One lakh 33 thousand rupees including charas, MD and cocaine have been recovered from them. Custody for two days is necessary to investigate from where these accused got the drugs and who are involved in this case.

After this, Aryan Khan’s lawyer Satish Mane Shinde told that the applicants were invited by the organisers. Also, Aryan Khan did not consume drugs. Therefore, the custody of these three is not required for two days. All three should be given one day’s custody. The detailed hearing of the matter will take place tomorrow.

It is noteworthy that on Saturday night, NCB raided the Cordelia cruise ship and arrested Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismit Singh, Mohak Jaiswal, Vikrant Chauker, Gomit Chopra and another drug peddler. Of these, Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were presented in the court on Sunday. The NCB team is going to present the other accused in the court on Monday.
