Meerut 7 Aug: Officials said on Sunday that five people were arrested for allegedly blackmailing a man after they made his objectionable video, including three women and an Uttar Pradesh Police constable. According to them, the arrested constable has been suspended.

Rohit Singh Sajwan, Senior Superintendent of Police in Meerut, stated, “Five people have been charged with blackmailing, including a policeman called Dinesh Kumar. The suspects were detained on Saturday, and an investigation is proceeding.” Kumar was assigned to the Pallavpuram police station in the district. According to authorities, the victim owed money to one of the accused, Swati Rathi. Rathi summoned the victim to his home and served him sedative-laced tea.

According to officials, she, her husband Rachit Rathi, and two female friends, Radhika and Neeraj, then made an indecent video and began blackmailing the man with the aid of the constable. According to authorities, the victim eventually filed a police case after becoming tired of being blackmailed and getting constant threats that the video clip would be disseminated on the internet.
